About

Our Name

When your family is young, you spend a lot of time together doing mundane things – eating meals together, playing, watching movies, doing household chores, etc. As your children get older and busier, that time decreases – and once college and work come into the picture, even less! As this happened to our family, when the five of us were altogether, we would say “Hey! We’re at full strength!”

Our Vision

Each member of our family worked to create the vision for our coffee shop and played a role in

its renovation. Our hope was for it to be an inclusive place for all whether you would like to

come in and relax, read a book over a cup of tea, chat with a friend, meet for lunch or do work

at our beautiful black walnut window bar complete with USB ports and outlets.

The Building & History

The beauty of this building on Main Street of our historic town was important for us to restore while renovating. Built in 1910, the tin ceilings, school house lights (found in the basement), and brick wall found under crumbling plaster were all gems to us! We have been fortunate enough to utilize the Chautauqua County Historical Society to find some history and photographs of our building.

Our Fare

We hope you enjoy our drink selections and food choices. Our goal was to select a combination of tasty versions of some old classics as well as offering items for those with food allergies or sensitivities. Three out of five members of our own family have Celiac Disease so we are familiar with the struggles of eating out and not having much to choose from.

Carbon Footprint

Being citizens of the earth, we feel it is our duty to reduce our carbon footprint as much as we can. Therefore, we are utilizing greener products for our napkins, to go containers, straws, cups and more. We also reuse our coffee/espresso grounds and fruit rinds for gardening and composting.

Thank you for visiting our family coffee shop. We hope you feel comfortable and relaxed while you are here. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to ask!
